Iroquois Beaded Cushion 1893 World's Fair

This large and dramatic Iroquois beaded pin cushion is decorated with clear beads and decorative pearls in a floral design beaded on a salmon colored silk material. There is a lovely, although not perfect, beaded fringe.  It is rumored to have been exhibited in the 1893 World's Fair.  A spectacular example of American Folk Art.
