On a whim, over 27 years ago Connie Dankmyer decided to explore the enchanting South Fork of Long Island with her daughter Kimberly. She fell in love with the magical light, breathtaking beaches and small-town feel of Amagansett. It was the perfect blend of charming and cosmopolitan--that was it she left the beautiful hills of Pennsylvania and Nellie’s was opened in 1992 in Amagansett.
